Cleaning

For the past year or so I've been making some of my cleaning products, and I totally love it!  The recipes are taken from Wendyl Nissen's Green Goddess website  http://www.wendylsgreengoddess.co.nz/recipes/cleaning/

Have a go, for cheap, easy and safe cleaning products.  And they REALLY work.

"Jif" Cleaning Paste

1 cup baking soda

1 tsp cream of tartar

10ml dish washing liquid

3 ml water

1 ml pepermint (or other) essential oil

Mix together soda and tartar.  Mix together dish washing liquid and water.  Add wet to dry mixing with a fork, add essential oil.  Store in an airtight container.  Use your kitchen sponge or cloth to scoop the paste out to clean. 

Window Cleaner

1 part white vinegar

2 parts water

Few drops dish washing liquid

Few drops lavender (or other) essential oil 

Combine in a spray bottle.

Floor Cleaner

4 litres hot water

Squirt dish washing liquid

1 tea cup white vinegar

10 drops of lavender (or other) essential oil

Combine in a bucket.

General Spray Cleaner

1 litre water

1 tsp baking soda

few drops dish washing liquid

10 drops of lavender (or other) essential oil

Combine in a spray bottle.
